Roschelle T. McKenzie is a born-again Christian with great aspiration to use her gift of writing to glorify God. Her passion to write Christian fiction novels is directed at ministering hope and healing to the broken-hearted and reaching the lost and backslidden for Jesus Christ.
Roschelle was born and raised in St. Catherine, Jamaica, where going to church every Sunday was a cardinal rule in her home. It was due to this regimen that she came to know and accept Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at the tender age of twelve. Her family migrated to America in the late 1980s and over time, Roschelle gradually began to go astray from the will of God. During her backslidden years, she dabbled heavily in the devil's playground; rebounding from boys to parties, to experimenting with alcohol and illicit drugs. Her church and prayer life had ultimately dwindled and soon enough, Roschelle had become spiritually bankrupt and lifeless.
Roschelle's "wake-up call" came shortly after discovering that she was two months pregnant (outside of the covenant of marriage) and like the prodigal son, she came to her senses and made the decision to return "home" to the Church, where she was welcomed back with love and open arms.
Roschelle has dedicated her life to serving the Lord and is committed to writing anointed and prolific stories to honor Him. Her first novel, Night Before Dawn, is touching many lives all across the globe and it is her sincere desire that God will use every book she publishes to accomplish a myriad of blessings to both the unsaved and the Body of Christ at-large.
Roschelle McKenzie currently resides in Westchester, New York, with her husband and young son.
